I thought this was an excellent article. I remember being extremely surprised by this moment on film.

How true this is! Empire Strikes Back was one of the first movies I saw at the movie theatre, and I remember being completely confused at this point (I was only 8 at the time.) But it IS a great movie moment, if not a great cultural one as well.
